The minimum Forge version for this update is 2860 and is required for a Pixelmon client to run. Again I understand your reasoning, but it still upsets me that you (and Nintendo) still target fan made communities that produce amazing things for no monetary gain, while there are thousands of places making cheap knock off products for the purpose of profit that get away almost unscathed.Download™ Recommended Forge is 1.12.2-14. I hoped at the very least you would have opted towards taking over production of the mod so that all these people’s hard work wouldn’t have gone to waste, or even worked something out with Minecraft (Microsoft) to try and keep this alive. To The Pokemon Company, while I understand you wish to prevent people from using your property, this was a dedicated community that merely wanted to show their love of your creations for nothing more than to say they did it. To the developers of Pixelmon, both official and community contributors, great job on all your hard work the mod has so much potential to go further. Therefore, if you currently do not have the mod installed on your computer, you most likely will not be able to get it.
UPDATE: I have just found out that The Pokemon Company has asked the developers of this mod to cease production. And I want to give special thanks to Nintendo, GameFreak, and The Pokemon Company for not taking this mod down, and I hope you allow it to continue expanding. MINECRAFT PIXELMON MOD YOUTUBE INSTALL
It’s free to play (assuming you have Minecraft), you just need to simply download and install the mod. Just know everything you love about Pokemon is now mixed with everything you love about Minecraft. I’d love to get more into this mod/game, but it has too many mechanics for me to touch on. I don’t know about you, but that’s a huge difference if I’ve ever seen one. Here’s a before and after of Zapdos to show you what I mean. The developers have even opened things up to the community that if someone designs a better model for a Pokemon it gets added within the next update. The models for these ‘Pixelmon’ started as a blocky mess, staying true to the Minecraft pixelated world, but now are getting better and better. From what I understand, they have the entirety of Generations 1-3 added, the majority (if not all) of Gens 4 and 5, and are working on Gen 6. At the time I’m writing this, they have generations 1-6 starters added (sorry Alola), and they have a very large amount of the Pokemon added to the game. When loading into a world/server the game has you choose your starter Pokemon. The mod was made by a group of people that love Minecraft and Pokemon even more than you do, and they proved it by making a whole Mod/game about it. Pixelmon is a Forge mod for Minecraft that adds the Pokemon world, we wished we lived in, to the Minecraft world, we can’t leave. Like Pokemon? Like Minecraft? Well, you’re in luck because there is an amazing Mod for Minecraft that gives you a great combination of the two.
